Hi, I’m Lawrence McGaffie, founder and lead creative at McGaffie Studios. I'm a photographer, visual storyteller, and youth advocate with a deep passion for helping young people see themselves with confidence and purpose.

McGaffie Studios began as more than just a photography project—it was born out of a desire to create a safe, inspiring space for emerging talent to develop their identity, explore modeling, and gain experience without the pressure or cost of traditional agencies. As a father, mentor, and creative professional, I understand how powerful it is to capture someone’s potential through a single image—and how important it is to do it with integrity.

I’ve worked in creative production, ministry, and leadership for over a decade, and currently run McGaffie Studios alongside my daughter, Sarah as part of a family-led team. Our approach blends professional photography, talent development, and mentorship, creating a modern alternative to the typical talent agency. We don’t just take pictures—we help build portfolios, elevate voices, and open doors for youth interested in fashion, branding, and creative work.

Each session is collaborative, personalized, and built around your unique style. We provide free portfolio-building sessions, and we’re committed to helping select models grow into paid opportunities, project features, and even agency readiness.
